Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
1Jo 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Amazing Grace
1 Amazing grace! How sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.
2 ’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!
3 Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; ’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
4 The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures.
5 When we’ve been there ten thousand years, Bright shining as the sun, We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise Than when we’d first begun.

Well, I’m here but not sure how this site works. There seems to be no particular subject of debate.
So I will say this, for whoever needs it at the moment: ”If Christ be for us who can be against us?” NO ONE! For ”Greater is He Who is in you than he that is in the world!” God Bless all you bloggers!! From Maz in Britain!
Boy, this sounds more complicated than I thot! I have been on another debating site for nearly two years, and it is so simple to just post a comment there. I’v read the hints but it all seems a bit confusing to my ”older” brain! Mind you, I am not past it yet, but if I put my brain cells to work I may work it out eventually! It’s 19.25 here and I’m off until tomorrow. God Bless! From Maz in beautiful Hampshire, England.
1Co 2:16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
Persevearance and some help from the Lord should solve that.
You have a mind , a will and Emotions, which proves that you were given being by your creator and that evolution is a lie.
Hi maninmirror! I’m one of those who believe what Genesis 1 actually says….God created everything that exists, and He didn’t use evolution. Yes, it is definitely a lie! In fact I believe He is a miraculous God Who is quite capable of creating the heavens and the earth in 6 days as recorded in Genesis. But I’v heard some really weird theories from Theists about how Adam was created!
Hi Maz ! I am also a literal creationist, still trying to work this site out myself, great to post and not expect aggro in return,
my God, I understand our God, is capable of making the universe in 6 seconds or the snap of His fingers, 6 days is not such a short time for him, I still have not figured out “why so long” properly, only when people are used to talking in billions of years, does it seems short.
Think: (Can I shorten your name) Glad to hear from someone of like beliefs. Yes, God could have just created in an instant, but He always has a reason for what He does. I watched a film once that proposed that the 6 days of Creation were a kind of pattern for the 6,000 years of man’s history. Can’t remember the details now, but I find God weaves patterns all through His Word. He is awesome indeed.
I think I have the hang of this site now. Look forward to more debate. I am actually debating on another site, and we have all sorts….atheists, theists, and even a Wiccan, as well as Christians. WE also get the odd one or two who end up getting banned. But we try and share the gospel with all who come on.
“The breaker is come up before them.”-Micah 2:13
Inasmuch as Jesus has gone before us, things remain not as they would have been had He never passed that way. He has conquered every foe that obstructed the way. Cheer up now thou faint-hearted warrior. Not only has Christ travelled the road, but He has slain thine enemies. Dost thou dread sin? He has nailed it to His cross. Dost thou fear death? He has been the death of Death. Art thou afraid of hell? He has barred it against the advent of any of His children; they shall never see the gulf of perdition. Whatever foes may be before the Christian, they are all overcome. There are lions, but their teeth are broken; there are serpents, but their fangs are extracted; there are rivers, but they are bridged or fordable; there are flames, but we wear that matchless garment which renders us invulnerable to fire. The sword that has been forged against us is already blunted; the instruments of war which the enemy is preparing have already lost their point. God has taken away in the person of Christ all the power that anything can have to hurt us. Well then, the army may safely march on, and you may go joyously along your journey, for all your enemies are conquered beforehand. What shall you do but march on to take the prey? They are beaten, they are vanquished; all you have to do is to divide the spoil. You shall, it is true, often engage in combat; but your fight shall be with a vanquished foe. His head is broken; he may attempt to injure you, but his strength shall not be sufficient for his malicious design. Your victory shall be easy, and your treasure shall be beyond all count.
“Proclaim aloud the Saviour’s fame,
Who bears the Breaker’s wond’rous name;
Sweet name; and it becomes him well,
Who breaks down earth, sin, death, and hell.”

Hi – I’m trying to get a South African prayer circle website going – please would you come and have a look? If you’d like the members of the site to add you to their prayers, just submit a request.

“For He saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.”-Romans 9:15
In these words the Lord in the plainest manner claims the right to give or to withhold His mercy according to His own sovereign will. As the prerogative of life and death is vested in the monarch, so the Judge of all the earth has a right to spare or condemn the guilty, as may seem best in His sight. Men by their sins have forfeited all claim upon God; they deserve to perish for their sins-and if they all do so, they have no ground for complaint. If the Lord steps in to save any, He may do so if the ends of justice are not thwarted; but if He judges it best to leave the condemned to suffer the righteous sentence, none may arraign Him at their bar. Foolish and impudent are all those discourses about the rights of men to be all placed on the same footing; ignorant, if not worse, are those contentions against discriminating grace, which are but the rebellions of proud human nature against the crown and sceptre of Jehovah. When we are brought to see our own utter ruin and ill desert, and the justice of the divine verdict against sin, we no longer cavil at the truth that the Lord is not bound to save us; we do not murmur if He chooses to save others, as though He were doing us an injury, but feel that if He deigns to look upon us, it will be His own free act of undeserved goodness, for which we shall for ever bless His name.
How shall those who are the subjects of divine election sufficiently adore the grace of God? They have no room for boasting, for sovereignty most effectually excludes it. The Lord’s will alone is glorified, and the very notion of human merit is cast out to everlasting contempt. There is no more humbling doctrine in Scripture than that of election, none more promotive of gratitude, and, consequently, none more sanctifying. Believers should not be afraid of it, but adoringly rejoice in it.(Exerpt From C H Spurgeon Daily Devotional)
