Posting Hints and Tips

You have to be registered to post. An email response will follow this.

Once you have this you can click on site admin under the posting heading this will take you into the dash board where you can update your profile etc.  Also you can create a post  after this.

If you have a lengthy post to make, you can compile it off line using Note Pad or  Microsoft word.

Then use the menu of the  software you used to compile it , to select all the contents of your post, then use copy to put it into your clipboard.

When you return to this site select post , and once the editing box comes up, type in your heading,  and paste your contents from your clipboard into the body.   For the Microsoft word users,  use the folder icon and ctrl v  keys to paste it in.

Be sure to select the relevant Category you want your post to appear in.  This is in a drop down box just below the editor on the right.

Also you can go through your post before you publish it for typos and spelling  errors using the  “abc” icon.

The television icon allows you to use a larger editing box by toggling it.

If  you want to post a link to a site then be sure to put it in the same format as the address shown on your web browser  ie:  h t t p: //  site adress  (without any spaces ) 

 Also to improve the appearance when quoting other sources   use the ” icon  this will indent the quote with a high light.

 Once you have saved the draft then preview the post  to double check it, once you are happy with it you can publish it.  Remember to close the preview page (IE 7 tab)

Note remember to choose a relevant tag  for your posts.
